As a Partner practising real estate law, Damir is committed to providing excellent legal service to a range of clients including sole proprietors, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
His real estate practice includes all manner of commercial real estate work, such as purchase, sale, and financing transactions, commercial leases, and land development matters. Damir frequently assists clients with commercial lending, on both the borrower and lender side, and involving both private and institutional lenders. He has also taken a keen interest in real estate related tax matters, including land transfer tax and harmonized sales tax. Further, Damir provides expertise and advice in all manner of commercial agreements and issues involving those agreements.
Since joining McCarter Grespan in 2016, Damir has drawn on the vast knowledge and experience at the firm to become a trusted legal advisor in his own right. Raised and educated in the Kitchener-Waterloo region, Damir is passionate about supporting and assisting local businesses and entrepreneurs.
