Paul Grespan

Paul has earned the respect and confidence of his clients by assisting them on both a legal and business level. With years of experience advising entrepreneurs and public companies alike on corporate, transactional, and land development matters, Paul brings a unique blend of business acumen, legal insight, and strategic thinking to clients, providing them with practical, thoughtful and effective advice. Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, Paul is able to focus on what he does best - building strong client trust by providing creative and effective counsel based on his many years of practice and experience.

Paul’s practice at McCarter Grespan focuses primarily on the oversight of transactional work and land development. Transactional work includes corporate mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financing, reorganizations, shareholder agreements, other commercial agreements and intergenerational transfer planning. Land development includes all aspects of land development including cost sharing, subdivision, various municipal and other agreements required for the development of freehold and condominium land for residential, commercial, industrial and other uses and real estate joint ventures, limited partnerships, co-tenancy and other arrangements

Paul has developed and leads a team of lawyers and law clerks who share his commitment to delivering superior service and results to the firm’s clients. As a business owner and land developer himself, Paul approaches his clients’ issues from a place of understanding – that is he is able to assess what client needs and wants are to create an effective plan of how to achieve them, delivering results in an economical and timely manner.
